Muhamad Ridhwan
Head Boxing Coach, Co-owner


Ridhwan takes the role of Head Boxing Coach for Legends. He first put on the gloves at the age of 17 under the tutelage of Singapore’s boxing legend, Mr Syed Abdul Kadir. Ridhwan has participated in various boxing tournaments internationally and has been awarded the ‘Best Boxer Trophy’ in some of the tournaments he competed in. He has competed in at least 140 amateur boxing bouts in his 10 year amateur boxing career.

Today, Ridhwan is a professional boxer under the promotional banner of Ringstar. He is commonly known as TCW or The Chosen Wan in the pro boxing circuit. Go to this link to see his professional boxing record. http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/745126

Ridhwan has had the opportunity to train, spar and compete against the best amateur and professional boxers. He also has travelled and be part of various training camps such as in Australia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Mayweather’s gym in Las Vegas, C4 Boxing Club in Virginia USA, ALA gym in Philippines, Survival Camp in Manila and so on.

Ridhwan is the only coach in Singapore to receive a scholarship from the International Olympic Committee to attend the International Coaching Course at the University of Physical Education in Budapest, Hungary (2015). You can also follow him on Instagram and Facebook! @tcw.legends

Khairizal Azman
Legends Gym Manager

Khairizal, or Rizal, is known more for his commitment outside the boxing ring. He volunteered his time mentoring and managing young aspiring boxers while under the guidance of My Syed Abdul Kadir. Rizal may have not stepped into the ring for a fight but he fiercely manages the team outside the ring ensuring they are both physically and mentally prepared before stepping into the ring. Having followed the Singapore National Boxing team to tournaments abroad taking the role as team manager, Rizal has endlessly given time and effort to bring in the team-bonding element to the Legends members. Today, he is the hon secretary for the Singapore Amateur Boxing Association (SABA) and is heavily involved in growing the sport of boxing in Singapore. He is always on the lookout for talent that can represent Singapore at the highest honour.

Muhamad Hafiz
Legends Boxing Trainer

Hafiz is a young talent in the local boxing community and epitomes hardwork and dedication. He now represents Singapore in the Bantamweight category of 56kg and has won gold in tournaments he competed in. His love for sports in general and willpower to train is unwavering so he eventually followed his passion to be a boxing trainer. He is motivated by progress the members show in terms of skill and mental resilience! He can be seen at the gym almost everyday, training, conducting classes and personal training appointments with clients.

He spends his free time browsing boxing videos just to keep learning new tricks and skills that boxers are practicing today. This constant learning process keeps him sharp and gives him more opportunities to share with the members on the skills of the trade. Hafiz is friendly and honest. Don’t be fooled by his quiet demeanor. He can be quite chatty!

Velvan Tan
Legends Boxing Trainer


Started boxing training since 12 years old. Have 17 amateur fights under his belt. Competed 3 times overseas, representing Singapore. Despite being the youngest, he’s dubbed to have plenty of potential to go far in the sport. His first fight was in Legend’s own Road to Glory event. He has an insatiable appetite and can swallow 6 ‘pratas‘ at one go. He says this constant hunger keeps him driven and motivated to pursue success in life.
Robin Alviedo
Legends Boxing Trainer

Born in the Philippines, Robin grew up here as a true blue Singaporean and just became a Singapore citizen recently. His Southpaw stance and stubborn demeanor makes him a tough opponent to be squared with in the ring. His love for film making and playing the drums; makes him a natural in rhythm and entertaining to watch in the ring. The self proclaimed quasi hipster dons a long hair and resorts to horse shampoo to maintain it.

Teo Wei Xuan
Legends Boxing Trainer
The good boy with the choir boy image. Born and bred in Legends, enjoys training and competing and currently completing a Diploma in Sports & Exercise Sciences from Republic Polytechnic. Wei Xuan did his internship with Legends and have competed & won twice in local tournaments. He has been a consistent fight team member and have been progressing well in the team. Collects Marvel Pop funk collectibles and his favorite superhero would be Captain America. He believes Captain America symbolizes strength and compassion which he strongly resonate with.

Luk Long Yin
Legends Boxing Trainer
Made his debut in Champs Boxing Series 1 – The Beginning. Always the first to be noticed as he is tall and is a man with little words. Always leading the fight team in runs as his long legs and previous vocation as a Diver in the Navy makes him a great pacer for road works. His discipline and incredible stamina pays off as he won by TKO 2 of his matches by landing barraging punches. In his free time, he enjoys travelling and will always remember his solo trip hiking in Nepal.
